Speech-Language Pathologist - Full Time at Diagnostic Center, Northern California
Monthly Salary: $5,516.00 - $7,610.00 (Plus $700.00 for Recruitment and Retention)
You will serve as a member of a trans-disciplinary assessment team providing services to local school districts in 35 counties. You will have a direct impact on the future of education. In addition, you will have an opportunity to develop and conduct training programs and workshops for educators and families.

Typical Responsibilities include the following duties:
Provide assessment services on a multiple disciplinary team
Develop a training and provide technical assistance, consultation and coaching services
Administer, score and interpret standardized and informal measures of assessment
Compose comprehensive reports of assessment findings, implications and recommendations for instructional strategies and related services within the context of a multiple disciplinary report
Attend parent/district conferences and meetings
Travel throughout Northern California

Master's Degree in Communicative Disorders or related field
Appropriate California Credential
Minimum of 5 years' experience working with students with disabilities
Hold the license for Speech Pathology in California
Hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
Ability to conduct standardized and informal assessments
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
An in-depth knowledge of special education law, procedures, disabilities and educational interventions
