UCP of Orange County is a family-centered out-patient facility that provides services to children with a wide variety of special needs. We have six comprehensive programs including Respite Care, Inclusive Child Care, Early Intervention, Recreation, Family Support Services and Therapy. Through the six comprehensive programs, our caregivers, specialists and therapists actively work with children and families to improve their quality of life and live a life without limits.
UCP of Orange County is currently looking for a part-time Speech and Language Pathologist to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary therapy team. SLPs provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to children birth to 22 years of age with or at risk for developmental delays and disabilities. This includes assessment, consultation and treatment in individual and group sessions, as well as participation in multi-disciplinary evaluations and programs. Duties also include supervision of SLPAs.
1. Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
2 Certification of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and California Licensure in Speech Pathology required
3. Minimum of one year pediatric job experience or 3 month pediatric internship
4. Must successfully pass job-related health screening and background check
5. Complete or provide negative tuberculosis test result: maintain clearance annually
6. Complete and maintain Infant/Child/Adult CPR/First Aid Training or provide proof of certification.
UCP-OC provides specialized care for more than 5,300 children and families each year through our six core programs. We are one of the only organizations in Orange County delivering comprehensive support for children with disabilities and their families. As such, our services are critical to closing developmental gaps and empowering families to care for their child’s special needs. UCPOC Therapy Center offers play based therapeutic intervention in a fun, family centered out patient facility.
