Language and Literacy Group is seeking a part-time or full time speech and language pathologist to join our team at Language and Literacy Group. We are looking for someone who is interested in working with mostly school age children- ages 5-18 during the late morning and after school hours (and there is the opportunity for Saturday hours). Our clients typically have learning disabilities in the following areas: dyslexia, expressive/receptive language disorder, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, autism and ADHD. We will be providing supervision around treatment plans and progress monitoring. Our ideal candidate is also trained or experienced in teaching using a multi-sensory, Orton-Gillingham based reading and spelling program. However, if you do not have training in OG, we can discuss arranging local training. In addition, experience using the Social Thinking and Story Grammar Marker methodologies would be favorable. At Language and Literacy Group we strive to provide the highest level of care and treatment for our students and families. As an owner and experienced clinician I know I can always learn something new, and we are seeking a clinician who wants to learn and who is dedicated to providing a high level of care.

About Language and Literacy Group
Language and Literacy Group is a small practice that specializes in working with children who have language based learning disabilities including: language impairment, language delay, autism, pragmatic disorders, dyslexia and phonological disorders. We also work with students who have ADD and executive function weaknesses that often impact writing. Chloe Adler and Dana Papageorge co-own the practice and have extensive training in language and literacy programs and methodologies. Each one of our students receives an individualized treatment plan that outlines goals to support them in the best way.
